BookMyTrim ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the BookMyTrim mobile application and website.

When you make a booking, we collect booking details and payment transaction references (we do not store full card details — payments are processed securely by Razorpay). We also collect device information and usage data to improve the app experience.
2.How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: create and manage your account; process bookings and payments; send booking confirmations and queue updates via push notifications; allow shop owners to manage their services and bookings; improve our platform and troubleshoot issues; comply with legal obligations.
3.Sharing Your Information
We share your name and contact details with the barbershop you book with so they can manage your appointment. We share payment data with Razorpay solely to process transactions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law.
4.Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking records are retained for a reasonable period for dispute resolution and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
5.Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure token-based authentication. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay and are PCI-DSS compliant. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.Push Notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications for booking confirmations, queue updates, and important alerts. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
7.Children's Privacy
BookMyTrim is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
