Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using BookMyTrim. These terms govern your use of our mobile application and website.
1.Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the BookMyTrim application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2.Description of Service
BookMyTrim is a platform that connects customers with local barbershops. We facilitate bookings and payments but are not a barbershop ourselves. The actual haircut or grooming service is provided by the independent shop owner.
3.User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use BookMyTrim. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.
4.Bookings and Payments
When you book a service, a platform fee (currently 10% of the service price) is charged via Razorpay at the time of booking. The remaining service amount is paid directly to the shop. During a shop owner's free trial period, no platform fee is charged. Bookings are subject to shop availability and the shop's open/closed status.
5.Shop Owner Obligations
Shop owners must provide accurate information about their services, pricing, and availability. Owners are responsible for honoring confirmed bookings. Owners must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations. BookMyTrim reserves the right to suspend or remove shops that violate these terms.
6.Prohibited Conduct
You may not: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; create fake bookings or manipulate the queue system; harass or abuse other users or shop owners; attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the platform; use automated tools to access the service without permission.
7.Limitation of Liability
BookMyTrim is a marketplace platform. We are not liable for the quality of services provided by shop owners, disputes between customers and shops, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the platform fee paid for the specific booking in question.
8.Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
9.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bihar, India.
10.Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes through the app.
